During occupancy, the tenant has the right to audit their contribution
to CAM charges.Contributions to landscaping, janitorial, repairs and maintenance and
HVAC costs may or may not result in improvements to the building’s overall
performance.The tenant should request
that their CAM charges improve the sustainable performance of the building
through services such as green cleaning, recycling and composting programs.Additionally, the hours of operation of the
tenant’s heating and cooling are in accordance with their lease-defined hours
of operation. The tenant should ensure that the building is not wasting energy outside of the occupant’s hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
