The RFP, LOI, and lease are consistent with the party’s sustainability goals
The lease appropriately addresses the rights and obligations of the landlord and tenant with respect to sustainability issues, on a par with all other material lease terms
Third-party certification or re-certification requirements are met
Caution: If your attorney lacks this knowledge, you run the risk that the lease will not properly advance your sustainability goals, or that you may not be able to meet certification requirements or ongoing financing-related commitments.
